Window treatments add so much to a home, from privacy to light control to UV protection of valuables and so much more. At T. Lynn's, we also think a window looks incomplete without a window treatment, so we like to take before and after pictures to show how window treatments enhance the overall décor. Below are a few of the recent projects we'd like to feature. We update this page frequently, so check in occasionally to see some of our latest highlighted projects.
A BIG BEAUTIFUL WINDOW
Complete privacy was not an issue for our client, so we selected a 5% screen roller shade to filter the light into the room softly and maintain an outside view while the shades are in the down position. The three stationary arch shades are hand-cut and sewn in our workshop. Because of the window height, we used a motorized control system to raise and lower six functioning shades.
Our expert installer created the template to custom cut and sew the top three nonfunctioning specialty shape shades to fit perfectly into the windows.
WHOLE ROOM COORDINATION
These beautiful open roll roller screen shades give this charming cabin's decor the perfect finishing touch by gently filtering the light into the room—all the shades in the open living space area match for impact and full room coordination.
SHADES WITH PRIVACY OPTIONS
This new home had a scenic view with stunning large windows in the master bedroom. We installed sophisticated cordless Duo Shades (two fabrics on one shade), so the client could have a complete blackout at night and a sheer pleated shade to help gently filter the light during the day. These duo shades also offer more privacy options for the client if partially raised to let light in at the top while dressing.
A WALL OF DOORS AND WINDOWS
This project features outside mount automated roller screen shades with custom cornices that my Master Carpenter and installer built to blend in with the trim. Mounting the shades outside the window allows the sliding doors to function, and the shades roll up above the glass, so there is no obstruction of view.
SIMPLE AND MODERN
Modern and visually appealing, these Ripplefold Draperies with blackout lining frame these gorgeous master bedroom windows perfectly. The draperies hang on a 1 3/8” traversing metal rod with end caps hanging close to the ceiling giving the illusion of height to the room. The Ripplefold header style offers a modern look with consistent soft rippling folds.
